Let me introduce you to the Vehlow Family! One of the many joys of being a photographer is the challenge to capture that ever elusive photo that has eluded families for so long. Before our session, the parents warned me that little miss Maddie did not like to take photos and might take a while to warm up to me. Well, they nailed it! They were so right! It was a struggle of wills. However, if anyone knows how dedicated I am they know I wouldn’t give up! I was getting worried that we would lose our light but I kept at it hoping for the best. Then… It happened! A smirk, raised to a side grin that gave way to the appearance of teeth, and finally a full on beautiful smile! She had the prettiest most adorable smile and I was so thankful we got to see more of it as our session was winding down. Her big brother on the other hand, had no problem showing me his smile from the second I met him. We ended up having so much fun and I was super delighted to see the final images.
