Carillon Beach Photographer | Beagles Family Sunset Beach Session

Today, I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Beagles family from the great state of Alabama. As a Carillon Beach photographer, I love when families travel in to celebrate their time on the Emerald Coast — and this multigenerational session was an absolute joy from start to finish.

Meet the Beagles Family

For those who follow my blog, you know I have Louisiana roots and I’m a lifelong fan of LSU football. I’m not sure if the Beagles family knew that during our session, but I sure did receive a handful of ROLL TIDEs! Truth be told, it didn’t bother me at all — my brother-in-law is an Alabama fan, and when my team wasn’t on TV we proudly watched Alabama play together. It made this session feel right at home from the very first frame.

Why Carillon Beach Is One of My Favorite Spots

I photographed the Beagles family in the beautiful location of Carillon Beach. I love having sessions there because you tend to find more seashells along the shore than at most of the other 30A locations — it’s a little less crowded, a little quieter, and full of small treasures. We were blessed with an amazing sky, cooler weather, and the emerald-green gulf waters that set the perfect beach backdrop.

A Multigenerational Carillon Beach Session

The session covered every angle of the Beagles family — a full extended group portrait with all eleven of them gathered together on the sugar-white sand, sweet family-of-three images with mom in a navy gown, dad in plaid, and their toddler daughter in a blue smocked dress, and tender brother-and-sister shots at the tideline. All together the session was a hit and I love the pictures.
