Every once in a while something crazy and totally unexpected happens during a photo session. Today, it was my turn for the crazy! First, let me introduce you to the amazing Richey couple. I had the honor of photographing these love birds on a beautiful day this summer and got some amazing shots! However, during our session we were at the beach access and I bent down(as I’ve done a million times) and the tiny layer of sand sent me flying backwards onto my camera bag. I literally thought I broke my elbow! If you can imagine what someone would look like taking a nap on the ground at a beach access is the visual I created that day! I didn’t want to go to the emergency room as I was booked solid and had eager clients I had to meet. However, I soldered on as luck would have it, my next client was an ER Doctor who took pity on me and gave me a free examination. Luckily, no broken bones and I was down for a few days but I do have a story to tell and great photos to share from my adventure. Here are my favorites from the session and hope to see you two again next summer.
