Where do I even begin with this astonishing mother-to-be? Radiant. Amazing. Strong! I could go on all day about Shawna. As a 30A maternity photographer, I’m always honored when expectant mamas trust me with this beautiful season — and Shawna’s session was one I won’t forget.

I was blessed to be contacted by Shawna for her maternity session, and I was thrilled when she asked if her little princess could take some beach pictures as well. Including her daughter made the whole shoot feel like a sweet family celebration of the new chapter ahead.

Capturing Candid Moments Before They Grow

As a mother of girls and boys, I know how important it is to capture candid moments of them growing. In the blink of an eye they are adults, and these images will always remain after the memories fade. Watching Shawna’s little girl twirl in the sand while mama glowed in her flowing teal gown was pure magic.
