Watersound Photographer | Josiah’s Rosemary Beach + Watersound Senior Session

Today, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Josiah! As a Watersound photographer who also shoots all along 30A, I was so excited when Josiah reached out about a casual lifestyle session that combined both beach and inland scenery.

A Casual Lifestyle Session With a Twist

I was contacted by Josiah for a casual lifestyle session, and he inquired if I could photograph both on and off the beach. You don’t have to ask me twice! I love it when sessions have a variety of scenery beyond a normal beach backdrop, and Josiah’s vision gave us so many gorgeous looks in one shoot.

Beach + Greenery: The Best of Both 30A Worlds

Family beach sessions are the genre I photograph the most, but I love the greenery of the Rosemary Beach area — and you can tell as it comes through in these photos. We mixed the boardwalk near the beach with white-pillared porches, sunlit pine woods, and a striking architectural metal gate for those editorial-style frames.

Multiple Looks for a Versatile Senior Gallery

Josiah brought a gray heathered tee with jeans and work boots for the boardwalk, an olive button-down for the porch and gate locations, and a sharp white pinstripe button-down for the pine woods portraits. Every outfit photographed beautifully against the natural Rosemary Beach and Watersound textures.
