There is a unique allure to the sunrise on the shores of Destin, Florida. As a Destin family photographer, sunrise sessions are some of my favorite mornings of the year, and capturing the lovely Lopez family at first light along the Emerald Coast was an absolute joy.

Choosing a sunrise session offers a multitude of benefits, the foremost being the tranquil environment. With the beach almost deserted, devoid of the usual crowd, beach chairs, and bustle, it becomes a private paradise. This quiet allowed the Lopez family to stand out and be the sole focus of the frame, highlighting their connection against the soft backdrop of nature awakening. For multi-generational families especially, sunrise gives us room to breathe, laugh, and move without distractions on either side of the lens.
