There is a timeless quality to Eden Gardens State Park that makes it a favorite for families visiting Santa Rosa Beach. For the Moore family’s session, the sprawling oaks and historic architecture provided a setting that was as sweet and welcoming as the family itself. As an Eden Gardens photographer, I love how this location offers a sophisticated alternative to the beach while staying true to the spirit of the Emerald Coast.

Elegance in the Gardens

Julie looked absolutely amazing for their session! I’m so used to seeing her in scrubs—she’s a dedicated nurse at a local doctor’s office—so it was such a treat to see her dressed up in a stunning white lace dress paired with classic cognac riding boots. Her outfit was the perfect choice for the park’s garden aesthetic, popping beautifully against the wrought-iron gates and greenery.

Sweet Moments and Polite Smiles

Their “little man” was the star of the show—so very polite and sweet as could be! We had a wonderful time exploring the grounds, from the shaded paths beneath the mossy live oaks to the open lawns. Capturing a child’s personality in such a grand setting is all about finding those small, genuine moments of joy, and this little guy made my job easy.
