A sunrise beach family session offers a unique and magical experience for your family. On the beach I only shoot one session at sunrise or sunset per a day. Each session is about 30-45 minutes and we start promptly on time. I am very particular on our start times as our beautiful skies, desired lighting, and temperature variations all contribute to a pleasant photographic experience. If we start too early, we can expect squinting eyes, excessive sweating or harsh shadows. Too late and we lose our beautiful coastal skies. To make sure we are on the same page, I will confirm the exact start time after you book as it varies from week to week.
I know sunrise is early BUT it’s GORGEOUS & totally worth it for a few reasons…
- Cooler temp’s during the summer which means less sweating
- Beautiful light
- Almost no one & no umbrellas on the beach
- Typically no/less wind
- Calmer waves
- No revolving your day around making sure the kids gets naps & aren’t exhausted by sunset time
