Coastal Seclusion: The Henderson Beach Resort Session

One of my favorite places to shoot on the beach as a Destin family photographer is the Henderson Beach Resort area. Being situated right next to a state park, it offers much more seclusion than the typical “hot spots” along Scenic Highway 98. Recently, I was lucky enough to revisit this little spot of paradise to photograph an absolutely beautiful family and enjoy some fun in the sun.

The styling for this session was perfection. The men kept it cool in beach casual attire, while the ladies looked wonderful in white. Coordinating white outfits against the sugar-white shoreline always creates a timeless, high-end look that I absolutely love. I’ve found that these simple, classic palettes allow the natural beauty of the Emerald Coast and the genuine connection of the family to take center stage.

Sunset Magic on the Emerald Coast

We were blessed with some of the best weather of the year, and it certainly shows in these amazing photos. From the vivid coral sunset to the champagne-gold horizon, the lighting was pure magic. Whether the family was gathered for a portrait or running along the shoreline, the joy was infectious.
