Watersound Beach Family Photographer | T Family Sunset Session

Welcome to the T family’s Watersound Beach family photography session — one of my favorite golden hour beach sessions of the year. As a Watersound Beach family photographer on Florida’s 30A, I am lucky to spend most evenings in the soft, glowing light that makes this stretch of coastline so iconic, and the T family’s session was no exception.

The T family booked their session at Watersound Beach, one of the most beautiful spots along Scenic Highway 30A. Tucked between Seacrest and Alys Beach, Watersound offers tall, white sand dunes, swaying sea oats, and uncrowded shoreline — exactly the calm, natural backdrop most families dream about for their 30A family photos. Coordinated Coastal Blue Outfits

If you follow my blog, you know how much I love when families take the time to coordinate their outfits — and the T family absolutely nailed it. Mom and her daughter wore flowing dresses in soft, beachy blues, while the guys complemented the look in coastal casual wear in chambray and white. The result was a relaxed, timeless palette that worked beautifully against the white sand and turquoise Gulf water.

Cotton Candy Skies at Watersound Beach

To make the evening even more magical, the Gulf served up a sky full of cotton candy clouds in soft pinks and lavenders that seemed to go on forever. We worked through a mix of full family portraits, individual couple and sibling shots, and plenty of candid, playful moments along the shoreline as the sun dipped lower. Golden hour at Watersound truly is hard to beat.
