There is nothing quite like the adrenaline and pure joy of a surprise proposal. As a surprise proposal beach photographer, I have the unique honor of being a “secret agent” on the sand, waiting for that perfect moment when one life-changing question is asked. Recently, I had the pleasure of witnessing the beginning of a new chapter for Deven and Promise right here in Destin.

The Big Moment on the Sand

Deven planned everything to perfection. Under the guise of a simple sunset stroll along the Emerald Coast, he led Promise to the water’s edge. When he finally dropped to one knee, the look of absolute shock and pure happiness on Promise’s face was priceless. These are the raw, unfiltered emotions that make my job so rewarding.

Post-Proposal Glow

After the “Yes!” and a few happy tears, we spent some time capturing their first portraits as a newly engaged couple. The sunset provided a romantic, soft light that reflected beautifully off the Gulf, highlighting the stunning ring and the undeniable connection between these two. Promise was absolutely glowing, and Deven couldn’t keep the smile off his face.
