Recently, I had the incredible honor of capturing the love between Mary and Reed during a breathtaking 30A engagement session. As a 30A engagement photographer, I’m always keeping a close eye on the horizon, and for this early morning shoot, the weather kept us on our toes!

A Race Against the Rain

This was a sunrise session, and for a while, I was worried the Florida weather might not cooperate. However, we were blessed with just enough of a window to get some absolutely amazing photos, wrapping up the session with just 15 minutes to spare before the skies opened up!

A Rainbow Blessing

As if their connection wasn’t beautiful enough, we received a stunning gift from the skies — a vibrant rainbow arched over the Gulf. It was such a fitting and symbolic backdrop for two people so clearly meant to be together. Some moments you can’t plan for; you can only chase the light and feel grateful when nature shows off like that.

Timeless Memories on the Emerald Coast

From quiet snuggles on the sugar-white sand to laughing strolls along the shoreline, every frame of Mary and Reed’s session felt easy and full of heart. The dramatic purple and orange sky after the rain made every portrait feel like a painting.
