Sandestin Family Photographer | The Marchbanks Family at Baytowne Wharf

Meet the Marchbanks family! Today I was truly blessed to have an amazing session at the beautiful Baytowne Wharf, located right inside the Sandestin Beach Resort. For those who have never visited, Baytowne is such a cool little area on the bayside that features great restaurants, unique shopping, and fun activities for the whole family.

Hidden Gems in the Resort

As a Sandestin family photographer, I’ve learned that the best shots often happen away from the main crowds. Most people don’t realize that Baytowne Wharf has several beautiful, quiet fountain areas hidden throughout the resort that are absolutely perfect for a photo shoot. Today, we found one that was completely empty, allowing the Marchbanks family to relax and just be themselves. The architecture and flowing water provided an elegant, “Old World” feel that contrasted beautifully with their casual coastal style.

A Beautiful Family Session

The Marchbanks family was a joy to get in front of my lens. Their choice of coral and chambray was perfect — the soft colors popped against the Baytowne brick walkways, columns, and porticos, and the three boys made every frame feel easy and full of life. Mom and dad anchored the photos so beautifully, and the boys brought all the personality.

Baytowne Wharf gives families so much variety in one walkable spot — architectural breezeways, brick promenades, fountain courtyards, and palm-lined sidewalks.
