Engagement Photographer in Watersound | Samantha + Gordon’s 30A Sunset Session

Can I please, please, please, photograph them some more! My inner creative was going absolutely crazy with these two love birds. Meet Samantha and Gordon, my clients and beautiful models for the day. As their engagement photographer in Watersound, I wish I could photograph them all the time — they are so cute together and pure naturals in front of the camera.

A Beautiful 30A Location at Watersound

For our shoot we chose a beautiful location on 30A — the Watersound garden bench, the pine-shaded paths, the dune-line boardwalk, and the wooden dock over the coastal dune lake. The mix of garden, dunes, dock, and shoreline gave us so much variety in such a short walk. Multiple Outfit Changes & Sunset Magic

We decided on multiple outfit changes — but honestly, it wouldn’t matter what these two wore, as they look good in anything! From soft sundress moments on the garden bench to flowy white tops catching the breeze on the boardwalk, every single look melted into the pastel sky. The cotton-candy sunset and rosy Gulf evening light did the rest.

Sweet, Natural Engagement Moments

We caught all my favorite kinds of frames — Gordon whispering to Samantha on the bench, soft forehead kisses in the dappled shade, Samantha laughing on Gordon’s lap, the engagement ring detail, the two of them slow-dancing barefoot on the walkway, and a tender silhouette as the sky turned to twilight. Pure naturals.
