Santa Rosa Beach Maternity Photographer | Amy & Sid’s Sunset Session
Today, it is my pleasure to introduce you to this beautiful first-time mom-to-be! Meet Amy — and OMG she looks absolutely amazing in her flowing coral dress. As a Santa Rosa Beach maternity photographer, I love nothing more than celebrating this season of life right at the water’s edge.
On one of the first evenings that the beach started to open back up, we took full advantage of the quiet shoreline and a jaw-dropping sunset along 30A. Amy was a complete natural in front of the camera, and her glow truly shines through in every single frame.
A Glowing Sunset Maternity Session in Santa Rosa Beach
The light along the Gulf of Mexico that evening was unreal — soft pinks melting into amber and rose. Amy’s coral gown caught every bit of that golden hour, and the empty sand gave us room to wander, laugh, and play. Sunset maternity sessions in Santa Rosa Beach really do offer some of the most romantic light anywhere on the Emerald Coast.
My Favorite Moment Between Amy and Sid
My favorite photo of the night is the one where Amy’s husband Sid lovingly kisses her forehead as they both hold her beautiful baby belly. It’s such a tender, quiet moment — the kind that reminds me why I love documenting growing families.
What to Wear for a Beach Maternity Session
Amy’s flowing coral dress with navy accents from Sid was the perfect example of how to style a sunset maternity session. Soft, movement-friendly fabrics that catch the breeze, complementary tones rather than perfectly matching, and bare feet in the sand — that combination photographs beautifully every single time.
Where We Photographed Along 30A
Santa Rosa Beach offers some of the most photogenic stretches of shoreline anywhere on 30A. If you’re visiting from out of town, my 30A photography locations guide walks through my favorite beach access points, and the visitor guide shares my recommendations for travelers planning their trip.
Planning Your Own Santa Rosa Beach Maternity Session
The best time to schedule a maternity session is typically between 28 and 34 weeks — you’re glowing, comfortably showing, and still moving easily on the sand. I’d love to help you plan a session as relaxed and joyful as Amy’s. Please contact me for detailed pricing and to reserve your date as a 30A photographer.
Here are a few sneak peek images for you to enjoy — I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them!
