Watercolor Senior Photographer | Ava’s 30A Senior Session
The pleasure I receive from photographing seniors is truly indescribable. The absolute purity and eagerness of going out to conquer the world is something very special for me. As a Watercolor senior photographer and a mother myself, I get a preview of how my little ones will be one day — it will be bittersweet, but I know I will have images like these to hold onto for a lifetime. I’m sure Ava’s family will feel the same way.
Meet Ava: An Ohio Senior Made for the Coast
These images are absolutely gorgeous! Ava, who hails from Ohio, was the perfect model. She has a love for the beach and embraces the coastal lifestyle, and it shows in every single frame. From the very first shot, she felt completely at home on 30A.
Why Watercolor Is a Dreamy Senior Session Location
I also couldn’t be happier with her choice of location — Watercolor! Between the lush tropical gardens, the canal walkways, the floral lawns, and the stunning sugar-white sand and Gulf shoreline, Watercolor gives us so many gorgeous backdrops in a single session. If you’d like to see more of my favorite shooting spots, check out my Destin and 30A photography locations guide.
Three Looks: Garden Edgy, Sundress Soft, Beach Coastal
Ava brought three perfect looks for her session: a sleek black ribbed crop top and white jeans for an editorial vibe in the Watercolor gardens, a flowing white sundress for soft, romantic portraits among the flowers, and a classic white tank and denim shorts for that coastal sunset beach feel. Each outfit photographed beautifully and gave her gallery so much variety.
