Watercolor Garden Photographer | The Block Family’s Annual Session
One of my FAVORITE things about my “job” is being able to watch families grow like this family! As a Watercolor garden photographer, the Blocks are one of those local families I get to capture year after year — and I love being a part of their story.
Watching the Block Family Grow
The Block family are locals, and I love being part of their story — being able to capture their memories year after year. There’s something extra special about photographing a family on repeat: you see the kids getting taller, the personalities getting bigger, and those quiet little ways everyone shows up for each other shift just a little with each visit.
Why the Watercolor Gardens Are Magic for Family Sessions
The manicured Watercolor gardens are one of my favorite spots along 30A for family portraits. The lush greenery, soft light filtering through the foliage, and that signature Watercolor charm create a backdrop that’s both timeless and uniquely Emerald Coast — and a beautiful change of pace from the beach if your family has already done sand-and-surf sessions.
Annual Family Sessions: Why They Matter
Booking a session every year is honestly one of the most meaningful gifts a family can give itself. The images become a timeline — proof of how much love stayed the same even as everything else around it changed. If you’d like to start your own annual tradition, take a peek at my 30A locations guide for inspiration on where to shoot next.
Planning Your Own Watercolor Family Session
Whether you’re a local like the Blocks or visiting 30A on vacation (my visitor guide is a great place to start your planning), I’d love to help you design a session that reflects exactly where your family is right now. As a 30A family photographer, I capture families all along the Emerald Coast — from Watercolor and Seaside to Rosemary Beach and beyond. Please contact me for detailed pricing and to reserve your session.
Can’t wait to see y’all again next year, Block family. Stay safe and happy!
