Destin Senior Photographer | Caitlin’s Jetties Beach Session

It is my pleasure to introduce you to this absolutely amazing senior — Caitlin! As a Destin senior photographer, I love when seniors and their families come ready with ideas that push a session beyond the typical beach backdrop. Caitlin’s session did exactly that.

Why the Jetties Make a Killer Senior Session Location

In preparing for our session, Caitlin and her mother decided the Jetties would be our shoot location — and I couldn’t have been happier. I love photographing at this location because we get a variety of scenery that you simply can’t find at a normal beach spot: sugar-white dunes, tall sea oats, a rugged coastal rock jetty, the Destin Pass bridge on the horizon, and that wide-open emerald gulf. It’s sooo worth the drive, and Caitlin’s gallery is proof.

Three Beach-Chic Looks

Today, Caitlin chose a variety of gorgeous ensembles that were total beach chic and perfect for a senior session. We started with coral palazzo pants and a white fringe crochet crop top among the oleander blooms and dunes, then transitioned to a dusty blue cutout top with white jeans on the rocks of the jetty, and finished in a white off-shoulder floral maxi for those sunset gulf frames. Each look pulled out a different side of her personality — and gave us a gallery with serious range.

Jaw-Dropping In-Water Senior Portraits

We had an amazing time and ended with some fun in-water photos that are totally jaw-dropping. Caitlin splashing in the emerald gulf, the dramatic wet-hair flip with the Destin Pass bridge and a cumulus pink sunset behind her — those are the kind of frames that turn a senior session into something completely her own.
