Santa Rosa Beach Family Photographer: The D Family’s Sunrise Session at Gulf Place

The outfits! The smiles! The skies! Did I mention the smiles? OMG, meet the amazing D family! As a Santa Rosa Beach Family Photographer, I had the honor of photographing this awesome family for a sunrise session at Gulf Place, and it did not disappoint. We had such a great time that I could have photographed for hours!

A Family That Made My Job Easy

One of the biggest benefits of my profession is meeting families that are so easy to work with that it reinforces why I love what I do. Today was definitely one of those days. The kids were so adorable and dressed impeccably! I have to find out where they got the girls’ dresses because I’m totally in love with them — something I’d absolutely choose for my own family.

Tips for a Great Family Beach Session

Coordinated outfits in soft, complementary tones photograph beautifully against the white sand and emerald water along 30A. Sunrise sessions tend to be calmer, cooler, and far less crowded than sunset sessions, which makes them ideal for families with young children. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before the sun rises so we can take full advantage of that magical first light.
