Meet Ella — Rosemary Beach Senior Session

Meet Ella, a 2023 graduating senior who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. As a Rosemary Beach senior photographer, I had the absolute honor of photographing Ella around the Rosemary Beach town center, the gardens just off the walkways, and the gulf shoreline at sunset. She was an absolute delight to work with from the very first frame.

Three Outfit Looks: Magenta, White, and Green

Ella came prepared with three perfect outfit changes for her Rosemary Beach senior session. She started in a stunning magenta cutout dress with puff sleeves — the perfect pop of color against the iconic white pillared walkways and storefronts of Rosemary Beach. She changed into a soft white smocked sundress for portraits in a quiet Rosemary Beach garden alcove tucked between stone urns and big tropical elephant ear plants. And she closed the session in a flowing green strapless dress as we walked down to the gulf for sunset.

Magenta on the Rosemary Beach Walkways

We kicked things off in the heart of Rosemary Beach. Ella looked absolutely radiant in her magenta cutout dress with puff sleeves — bright, fun, and so perfectly Ella. We worked our way along the white pillared walkways and storefronts, capturing her leaning casually against a pillar, sitting along the bright pink walkway, smiling in soft sunlit doorways, and posing in the dappled shade between the iconic white columns. The magenta against the crisp white architecture made every frame pop.

For her second look, Ella changed into a soft white smocked sundress and we tucked into a beautiful little Rosemary Beach garden alcove framed by stone urns and lush elephant ear plants. The mix of crisp white, golden sunlight, and tropical greenery felt like its own little secret garden. We captured Ella seated on a sunlit stoop, leaning gracefully against a stone urn, framed between the big elephant ear leaves, and posed beside a white pillar in soft natural light.

Green Dress at Sunset on Rosemary Beach

We finished the evening at the gulf as the sky began to glow. Ella looked stunning in her flowing green strapless dress, with the warm wet sand reflecting the pastel sunset sky behind her. We captured her standing tall along the rolling waves, seated in the foamy surf with her dress floating around her, smiling as the sand caught the last light of the day, and one favorite frame of her reflected in the wet sand as a wave rolled in. The sunset that day was simply stunning — deep pinks and purples that complemented Ella’s senior session perfectly.
