The Garver Family | A 30A Family Photography Session in Dune Allen

Meet the beautiful Garver family! I had the pleasure of photographing this awesome family in the charming coastal community of Dune Allen Beach along Scenic Highway 30A. They were the nicest family, and they definitely belong in front of the camera.

Beach Blue & Wonderful in White

All of the Garvers sported beach blue while their daughter was looking wonderful in white. Their coordinated outfits were perfect for the soft, sandy backdrop and golden coastal light. There is something so timeless about a family dressed in cool blues and crisp whites against the Emerald Coast — it really lets each person’s personality shine.

A Little Seaweed Couldn’t Stop This Family

We recently had a storm roll through the panhandle that churned up some seaweed along the coastline, but that didn’t hinder this session at all. (If you are planning a beach session, Visit South Walton is a great resource for current beach conditions and flag warnings along 30A.) The Garvers rolled with it like champs — kicking up the surf, laughing together, and making the most of every minute. They all have gorgeous smiles, and I had a complete blast photographing them.

Why Dune Allen Beach Is a Favorite for 30A Family Photography

Dune Allen sits on the quieter, more private western end of 30A, which makes it one of my favorite locations for 30A family photography. Without the crowds you find in busier neighborhoods, families have room to roam, play, and just be themselves on the sand. The wide-open beach and dune backdrops feel like your own private slice of paradise.
