Inlet Beach Photographer
Family, senior, maternity & couples portraits on the east end of 30A · by Amanda Eubank

Welcome to Inlet Beach — Your Beach Photographer on 30A
Looking for an Inlet Beach photographer for your family on 30A? I’m Amanda Eubank, and I’m the 30A photographer behind Amanda Eubank Photography. For more than a decade I’ve photographed families, seniors, maternity moms, newborns, and couples along the easternmost stretch of 30A. Inlet Beach holds a special place in my heart — it’s where the sugar-white sand meets coastal dune lakes, where 30Avenue brings a little buzz to the morning coffee crowd, and where the beaches still feel quiet at sunrise.
This guide covers everything you need to plan a beautiful Inlet Beach session — from the best beach accesses to what to wear, sunrise vs. sunset, and the questions clients ask most. If you’d rather skip ahead and just chat, tell me a little about your session here and I’ll be in touch within 24 hours.

Why Choose a Local Inlet Beach Photographer
Inlet Beach is unique on 30A. It sits right at the eastern gateway, where Walton County meets Bay County, and it has its own personality — quieter beaches, charming neighborhoods like Prominence and Watersound Origins nearby, and the playful energy of 30Avenue just across the highway. As a local 30A photographer, I know which dune walkovers stay open at golden hour, which sections of beach are emptiest in summer, and how to time a session around the tides and the crowd.
Choosing a local photographer means I’m not figuring out logistics on the fly. Instead, your session flows easily: we move from one beautiful spot to the next, the kids stay engaged, and we finish before anyone melts down. That’s the difference between a stressful beach photo experience and the kind your family remembers forever.
Inlet Beach Photographer — Best Locations
Here are the spots I love most along this stretch of 30A:
- Inlet Beach Regional Beach Access: classic sugar-white sand with the famous dune fencing and weathered boardwalks — perfect for families and seniors.
- Camp Helen State Park: a rare blend of coastal dune lake, Gulf shoreline, and historic Lodge buildings just steps west of Inlet Beach. Wonderful for engagements and family portraits with variety.
- 30Avenue: not for the session itself, but a perfect meet-up point for coffee before sunrise or a celebratory dinner after.
- Prominence & The Hub: the lawn, the string lights, and the Adirondack-chair vibes are gorgeous for an evening lifestyle portrait.
- Watersound Beach access (just west): if you want a quieter, less-developed stretch with dramatic dunes.
Not sure which location fits? Tell me a little about your group and I’ll match you to the right spot.

Inlet Beach Family Photographer Sessions
As an 30A family photographer, my goal is simple: capture your family the way you actually are. The way your toddler tucks her face into your neck. The way your dad makes the kids belly-laugh. The way your husband looks at you when he thinks no one is watching. Sand-castle-building cousins, sleepy babies in your arms, big extended-family reunions — that’s what Inlet Beach is for.
Most Inlet Beach family sessions last about an hour. We start with the full group, break out into smaller groupings (parents alone, siblings, individuals), and finish with playful, in-the-water moments. You’ll receive a beautiful mix of posed portraits and candid storytelling images.
Inlet Beach Senior Photographer — 30A Senior Portraits
As an Inlet Beach senior photographer, I love creating senior portraits that feel like the senior — not a Pinterest board. Bring two or three outfits, and we’ll move between the open beach, the weathered boardwalk pilings, and the dune fencing for variety. Senior sessions run 60–90 minutes and include both posed and walk-and-laugh candid frames.
Want a friend in a few shots? Bring her. Want your retriever in there too? Even better.
Inlet Beach Maternity & Newborn Photographer
Maternity portraits at Inlet Beach feel timeless. I light you so your bump glows against the soft Gulf horizon, and we keep everything relaxed, comfortable, and flattering. I recommend booking your Inlet Beach maternity photographer session between 30 and 36 weeks for the most flexibility — far enough along to show beautifully, comfortable enough to walk the dunes.
For newborns, I photograph in a lifestyle style at your rental or home around 7–21 days new. Soft window light, your real space, and a baby who’s mostly sleepy — that’s the recipe.
Inlet Beach Couples & Engagement Sessions
Whether you’re planning a 30A proposal, celebrating an anniversary, or just want pictures that aren’t selfies, an Inlet Beach couples session is unforgettable. The best light is the 30 minutes around sunset, with twilight portraits as a beautiful bonus after the sun drops.

Sunrise vs. Sunset at Inlet Beach
Sunrise sessions at Inlet Beach are quiet, cool, and almost crowd-free — perfect for families with little ones who go to bed early, and absolutely gorgeous because the sun rises directly over the Gulf at this stretch of 30A. Sunset sessions are warmer, dreamier, and easier to schedule around a vacation day at the pool. Both produce beautiful images. If you have a sleep-resistant toddler, choose sunrise. If you have a teenager, choose sunset.
What to Wear for Your Inlet Beach Session
For families, I recommend a coordinated — not matching — palette in soft neutrals with one or two pops of color: cream, sand, dusty blue, and blush all photograph beautifully against the sugar-white sand. Avoid bright logos and large prints. Bare feet always.
For seniors, bring two or three outfits, from casual to a flowy dress. For maternity, fitted bump-hugging gowns photograph best. Once you book, I send every client a full styling guide with examples.

Inlet Beach is one of my favorite stretches of 30A, but it’s far from the only one. If you’re still narrowing down the perfect spot, you might love Watersound, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, or Santa Rosa Beach.
