Inlet Beach Senior Photographer | Miss Vivian’s Session
As an Inlet Beach senior photographer, I have the privilege of capturing one of the most important moments in a young person’s life. It’s a time when they’re about to embark on a new journey and leave their high school years behind. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Miss Vivian — a stunning senior model — in Inlet Beach, Florida, who wore two beautiful flowing dresses for two completely different looks.
A Senior Who Traveled In From Georgia
Miss Vivian, who hails from Georgia, was a natural in front of the camera. Her easygoing personality and radiant smile made her a joy to work with. She exuded confidence and grace, which made her senior portraits all the more stunning. There’s something so special about photographing destination seniors who travel to 30A and the Emerald Coast for their portraits — it makes the entire experience feel like a celebration.
Look One: A Dramatic Red Flowing Gown
The first dress Vivian wore was a stunning red flowing gown that contrasted beautifully with the clear blue skies and white sand dunes of Inlet Beach. The dress moved with the ocean breeze, creating a dramatic effect that was simply breathtaking. Her hair was styled in loose waves, and her makeup was natural, enhancing her already stunning features. A handful of these frames translated beautifully to black-and-white — the texture of the wet sand, the soft surf line, and the movement of the gown all make for incredibly striking monochrome portraits.
Black-and-White Frames That Feel Timeless
Some of my absolute favorite images from Miss Vivian’s gallery are the black-and-white frames near the water — reclining on the wet sand with the reflective shoreline behind her, seated near the calm surf line, and quiet profile shots in soft monochrome light. Black-and-white photography strips away every distraction and lets the senior’s expression do the talking. These are the images that hang in hallways for decades.
Look Two: A White Strapless Tiered Mini Dress at Sunset
The second dress Vivian wore was a sweet white strapless tiered mini dress that perfectly complemented the beach setting. The white dress stood out against the natural backdrop, creating an ethereal and almost angelic effect against the pastel sunset sky. Her hair was styled in a loose, slightly messy bun, adding a touch of whimsy and movement to the shoot. We worked the wide white sand and gentle surf as the sky turned soft pink, capturing barefoot walks, quiet sit-down moments, and a few dramatic-sky senior poses.
Exploring the Beauty of Inlet Beach
Throughout the shoot, we explored the natural beauty of Inlet Beach. Tucked between Rosemary Beach and Panama City Beach on the eastern end of 30A, Inlet Beach offers some of the widest, most pristine stretches of sand on the Emerald Coast — and it’s one of my favorite spots for senior sessions because of the space, the dunes, and the quieter shoreline. We wandered through the dunes, captured shots of Vivian dancing and twirling in her dresses, and grabbed plenty of candid frames of her genuine laughter and joy.
A Senior Year Worth Remembering
The photos from this shoot turned out absolutely stunning. I feel privileged to have captured this important moment in Vivian’s life, and I know that these photos will serve as a beautiful reminder of her senior year for years to come. Senior portraits are about so much more than a single image for a yearbook — they’re about freezing this version of you in time.
