A 30A Beach Session With the Best Kind of Surprise

The skies were absolutely beautiful and the Spurlocks were such an absolute pleasure to photograph. We started with the family portion of the session, working our way down the shoreline as the light got softer and the kids got sillier — exactly how a beach session should go.

The Surprise Proposal

Then came the moment everyone (except one very surprised person) had been waiting for. I love capturing families, but I get butterflies in my stomach when I get to capture that moment when a child is born or an engagement happens. Watching the proposal unfold with the whole family there to witness it was such a gift.
