Watercolor Garden Photographer | The Taylor Family’s Garden Session

Garden Greenery: The Taylor Family in Watercolor

Today, it is my great pleasure to introduce you to the beautiful Taylor family! This is a session I’ve wanted to blog for a while, but as some of you know, I was “out of commission” for a bit following an emergency appendectomy. Now that I’m back and have plenty of time on my hands, I am so excited to finally share this overdue gallery!

A Change of Scenery

While almost all of my work consists of beach sessions, it was such a welcomed change to head inland for a Watercolor garden session. On this day, the Taylor family and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful park area within the Watercolor community. The lush green backdrop and manicured landscapes provided a sophisticated, organic feel that I absolutely loved capturing.

Cozy Coastal Style

Since it was a little chilly outside, the family wore casual but warm clothes that looked absolutely perfect against the garden greenery. Their son was a total natural — he had the most infectious smile and was a complete pro for the camera. I’m calling it now: that kid definitely has a future in modeling!

Timeless Family Moments

Capturing a family’s connection in such a serene environment is what being a Watercolor garden photographer is all about. We focused on natural interactions and genuine smiles, resulting in a gallery that feels both relaxed and high-end.

Why Watercolor Is Perfect for Non-Beach Sessions

The Watercolor community has some of the most photogenic non-beach locations on all of 30A — from the wide central park to the tree-lined boardwalks and tucked-away garden corners. If you’d like a session that doesn’t involve sand and salt water but still has that signature Watercolor feel, this is the spot. For families visiting from out of town, my 30A photography locations guide and visitor guide can help you plan your trip.

A Note to the Taylor Family

Taylor family, I had such a blast working with you and I can’t wait to photograph you all again. See you in the summer!

Hi, I'm Amanda Eubank — a premier Emerald Coast photographer specializing in family, senior, engagement, maternity & newborn portraits along Florida's most iconic coastline. For more than a decade, I've been capturing the natural beauty and easy magic of Destin, 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, Rosemary Beach, Watersound, Seaside, Watercolor, and the surrounding sugar-white shoreline. Every gallery is tailored to reflect the people in front of the camera — warm, candid, and connection-driven — designed to feel less like a photo shoot and more like a memorable time with your favorite people. Whether you're planning a vacation session or marking a milestone, I'd love to create timeless, emotive images that feel like the trip itself. I'd love to hear from you.
