Radiant in Red: Ansley’s Triple-Location Senior Session

Today was an amazing day! If you have followed my blog, you know I had some health issues earlier this year that forced me to take a little time off. I am so happy to be back behind the lens, especially for such a spectacular session. Recently, I had the pleasure of serving as the Eden Gardens senior photographer for the lovely Ansley, and we truly made the most of the Emerald Coast’s beauty!

The Magic of Eden Gardens

We kicked off our session at the breathtaking Eden Gardens State Park. Ansley looked absolutely radiant in a bold red dress, which popped perfectly against the moss-draped oaks and the classic white architecture of the Wesley House. This location is a favorite for 30A senior portraits because it offers a sophisticated, southern-chic vibe that is a perfect contrast to the beach.

Next, we took a short trip over to the Watercolor gardens. This spot provided a lush, tropical feel that perfectly suited Ansley’s “million-dollar smile” and piercing eyes. We utilized a variety of ensembles that showcased her amazing style and gave us some jaw-dropping photographs. Having multiple looks and locations really allows a senior’s personality to shine through in their final gallery.

A Spectacular Sunset Finish

We ended our day on the sand for some spectacular sunset images. The light was perfection, but one shot in particular stands out — the silhouette of Ansley looking over the water just speaks to me! It captures that sense of “beach bliss” and the excitement of a senior heading off on her next adventure.

Ansley brought several thoughtful looks, and her bold red dress was absolute perfection against the white architecture of the Wesley House and the deep garden greens. For a multi-location senior session, I recommend bringing two to three outfits that feel like you — one bold statement piece, one softer or more casual look, and a final outfit that photographs beautifully on the beach at sunset.
