Z Family Sunset Session in Watercolor
Today I’m thrilled to introduce the Z family! As their Watercolor Family Photographer, I had so much fun planning a multi-location session that captured the best of this charming 30A community. We started among the lush gardens and water features of Watercolor and finished with the sweetest, splashiest moments on the beach at sunset. With glowing skies, coordinated beach-life styling, and a daughter who lit up every single frame, this session truly had it all.
A Mix of Watercolor Gardens & Gulf Shoreline
Multi-location sessions in Watercolor are one of my favorites because they offer two completely different vibes in one shoot. The lush garden ponds gave us a tranquil, storybook start before we transitioned to the Gulf for sandy feet, splashing waves, and that signature 30A sunset light.
A Little Girl with Star Power
The Z family’s daughter has the most incredible eyes and a million-dollar smile — seriously, child model material! Photographing kids who genuinely love being in front of the camera is such a treat. Her giggles by the garden ponds and her splashy joy in the Gulf gave the gallery so much personality.
Coordinated Beach-Life Styling
Mom and daughter wore breezy beach-inspired dresses while dad rocked a matching button-down with khakis — a perfect example of how coordinated (not matching) outfits photograph beautifully against the Watercolor scenery. As a Watercolor family photographer, I always recommend soft, complementary tones that let the location shine.
Sunset Skies Made for Photos
We were so lucky with the weather — the sky was streaked with flowing pastel clouds that gave us a tropical, magical sunset over the Gulf. Browse more sessions like this on my family photography portfolio for inspiration on locations, outfits, and posing.
Thanks again, Z family — what a fun afternoon!
