Here is the long-awaited mermaid session with the adorable Isa! Ariel has nothing on this beauty! Isa is turning 5 this month and wanted some mermaid-themed photos — and Mom gave her little angel exactly what she wished for.

A Magical Mermaid Birthday on the Emerald Coast

Themed birthday sessions are some of my favorite ones to photograph. Watching Isa step onto the sand in her sparkly mermaid tail with the emerald Gulf behind her was pure magic. She lit up the entire beach with her smile, and the soft Destin light gave us a dreamy, story-book feel from frame one.

I’ve had the honor of photographing this family for years, and when I got the call to capture Isa’s mermaid dreams, I couldn’t wait! There’s something so special about watching the kids you’ve photographed grow up — and turning 5 with a session like this is a memory her family will hold onto forever.
