Magic at The Henderson: Clayton + Kristina

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos! There is something so incredibly special about being invited to document the exact moment two lives change forever. Recently, I had the pleasure of serving as the Destin surprise proposal photographer for Clayton and Kristina, and it was a night straight out of a movie.

A Sunset Dinner to Remember

Clayton pulled out all the stops for the love of his life. He booked a private beach sunset dinner at The Henderson, and the setup was absolutely amazing. As the sun began to dip toward the Gulf, the scene was set with flickering candles, lush red roses, and chilled champagne. You could truly feel the magic in the air before they even stepped onto the sand.

Serenaded by the Sea

Both Clayton and Kristina looked stunning in coordinated white attire, which popped beautifully against the lavender-and-peach hues of the Destin sky. As they walked toward the dinner setup, the sounds of the ocean serenaded them from the distance. It was the perfect, intimate atmosphere for Clayton to drop to one knee and ask that life-changing question.

A Lifetime of Happiness

Watching the pure shock and joy on Kristina’s face was a highlight of my week. These sneak peek images capture just a fraction of the emotion shared on that beach. Congratulations, Clayton and Kristina! It was a sincere honor to capture your proposal, and I wish you a long and happy life together!
