A Destin Surprise: Blair + Alexis

One of the many joys in my profession is being a silent witness to the beginning of a beautiful life together. Today, I had the absolute honor of serving as the Destin engagement photographer for Blair and Alexis’s incredible surprise proposal!

A Moment of Pure Joy

You could immediately see the love between these two. The pure joy in Blair’s eyes when Alexis said “Yes!” was a moment I won’t soon forget. I have to admit, I teared up a bit myself—I always get a little emotional during proposals and weddings! It is such a privilege to capture the raw, unscripted emotion of a couple deciding on their “forever.”

Cotton-Candy Skies

We were truly blessed with an amazing sky for this session. The “cotton-candy” clouds and multi-toned sunset provided a romantic, dreamlike backdrop that perfectly matched the mood of the evening. In Destin, the light during golden hour is simply unmatched for celebrating an engagement.
