Are you ready for some cuteness overload? OMGoodness — be still my heart! As a Destin beach newborn photographer, I get to do a LOT of sweet baby snuggles, but this little bundle had me wrapped around her tiny finger from the very first frame. Meet Baby Ren and her precious family, fresh from the Emerald Coast and serving up all the newborn beach session vibes.

A Sunset Newborn Session in Destin

We met up for a sunset newborn session on the flawless white sand of the Emerald Coast, right here in Destin, FL. The light was buttery, the surf was gentle, and Baby Ren was an absolute angel the entire time. I don’t know about you, but I sure didn’t look as good as her beautiful momma did within weeks of giving birth — y’all, Baby Ren clearly has some great genes!

Soft Wrap & Floral Headband Details

Some of my favorite frames from the day were the sweet close-up portraits of Baby Ren swaddled in a soft mauve wrap and the tiniest little floral headband, nestled inside a rustic wood bowl in the white sand. Those teeny painted toes? SWOON. Newborn details like this are the ones moms cry over years later, and Baby Ren delivered every single time.

Driftwood Crib on the Sand

We also set up a rustic little driftwood crib prop on the sand at the edge of the emerald water for some dreamy coastal newborn portraits. Baby Ren stayed soundly asleep through every pose, with the white sand and Gulf glow framing her perfectly. These are the photos that capture how brand-new she truly was during these first precious weeks.

Big Sister, Mom & Dad Joined In

The session was completed when Dad and big sister joined in for some sweet family-of-four frames. Watching big sister meet her baby in the sand at sunset? Pure magic. Mom and dad held Ren close, all four of them gathered together along the shoreline, and we wrapped the session with the warm Destin sun melting into the Gulf behind them. What a fun and loving family.
