30A Photographer | The Hallock Family Sunset Beach Session

For those of you who follow my blog, you know I have moved to various cities in my life. One of those cities is Dallas — where I met my husband and love of my life. So today, when I had the honor of photographing the Hallock family from Dallas, of course we immediately hit it off! As a 30A photographer, it’s always a special treat when out-of-state clients turn out to share a hometown with me.

Naturals in Front of the Camera

The Hallocks are so nice and complete naturals in front of the camera. Some families just settle in the moment they step onto the sand — easy laughs, real connection, no posing fatigue. That’s exactly the kind of session this turned out to be.

Blessed With a Gorgeous Sunset

We were blessed with a gorgeous day and a beautiful sunset that gave us an AMAZING beach backdrop. Soft pastel skies, the emerald gulf glowing behind them, and that warm golden hour light dancing across the sand — every frame felt like a gift.

Jaw-Dropping Silhouette Shots

As an added bonus, we got some jaw-dropping silhouette shots that are perfect showcase pieces. Sunset silhouettes are my favorite way to end a beach session — they instantly become statement-wall material and capture the family in a way that’s both timeless and dramatic.
