Seaside Florida Senior Photographer | Mallory’s Session

Hey there, it’s me, Amanda! Today, I want to share with you the amazing experience I had during a senior portrait session in Seaside, Florida. As a Seaside Florida senior photographer, I love that this iconic 30A town gives us so much variety in a single session — pastel cottages, white picket fences, sun-drenched dunes, golden sea oats, and a stunning Gulf shoreline all within a short walk of each other. A Perfect Day for Senior Portraits

It was a beautiful day with blue skies and perfect weather, and I couldn’t have been more excited to capture this special moment for Mallory. As we arrived at the beach, we were greeted by the stunning view of the crystal-clear water and the pristine white sand. Her hair and makeup were perfect, and she was ready to shine in front of my camera.

Three Outfits, Three Settings in Seaside

Mallory came prepared with three gorgeous outfits, and we built the session around three completely different Seaside scenes — the village, the dunes, and the shoreline. Multi-outfit, multi-location senior sessions are some of my favorites because the resulting gallery feels like a true magazine editorial of who you are right now.

Look One: Light Blue Puff-Sleeve Dress in the Village

We started in the village of Seaside, where Mallory wore a sweet light blue puff-sleeve dress that played beautifully against the white picket fences and pastel cottages. The village is one of the most iconic backdrops on 30A — those crisp white pickets, manicured walkways, and soft Floridian architecture give senior portraits a timeless, storybook feel.

Look Two: Blue Smocked Maxi Dress in the Dunes

Next we wandered out to the dunes, where Mallory slipped into a flowy blue smocked maxi dress that picked up the warm golden tones of the sea oats. The late-afternoon light filtered through the tall grasses and dunes, creating that signature 30A glow. We grabbed seated frames in the sea grass, soft-sky portraits, and a few full-length poses where the breeze caught her dress just right.

Look Three: A Red Lace Dress at Sunset

For the final look, Mallory changed into a showstopping red lace dress and we headed down to the shoreline as the sky began to turn. The colors were absolutely breathtaking — vibrant shades of orange and pink stretched across the horizon — and we took full advantage of the stunning backdrop. We worked the rolling waves and the white sand, capturing a beautiful sit in the foamy surf, a few crashing-wave action frames, and quiet shoreline poses as the last warm light wrapped around her.

Confidence, Laughter, and a Whole Lot of Personality

We started off with some classic poses, capturing Mallory’s natural beauty and confidence. But as the session progressed, she started to loosen up and show off her fun-loving personality. She ran through the water, twirled in her dresses, and laughed at all my silly jokes. Her joy and happiness were contagious, and I couldn’t help but smile behind the camera.

A Senior Year Worth Celebrating

The session was filled with so much fun and laughter, and Mallory’s confidence and beauty shone through in every single shot. She had the time of her life, and so did I. As we wrapped up the session, we were both so happy with how everything turned out, and I knew that she would cherish these photos for years to come.
