Why I Love Photographing After a Storm

If you’ve followed my blog, you know I love stormy weather. Many photographers shy away from less-than-ideal conditions. I gladly accept the challenge.

The benefits of photographing after light showers are huge. You get fewer beachgoers. You get cooler temperatures. And you get the most beautiful, dramatic skies.

Cotton Candy Clouds Over the Emerald Coast

The McNallys fully embraced the post-storm magic. They loved the cotton candy clouds that filled the sky. The light was soft. The colors were dreamy. The whole beach felt like it belonged to us.
