Hey there, it’s me, Amanda! As a couples photographer in Rosemary Beach, I am SO lucky to call this little slice of 30A my regular backdrop. Between the brick-paved town center, the white-pillared plazas, the red-umbrella storefronts, and one of the prettiest sunset shorelines on the Emerald Coast, Rosemary Beach gives couples the kind of variety you really can’t find anywhere else. Today, I’m sharing N + K’s romantic two-location session, and y’all — it was a dream.

Golden Hour in Rosemary Beach Town Center

We kicked off the session in the heart of Rosemary Beach town center. K wore the prettiest blue and white floral midi dress, and N looked so handsome in a light blue button-up — the perfect coastal-preppy pairing for the brick plazas and pastel architecture. We wandered the cobblestone paths, leaned against the white pillars, posed in front of the red-umbrella storefronts, and stole a few sweet candid moments along the way. The town center has such a romantic, European feel that it makes every couple look like they’re on a getaway in a coastal village.

Sunset on the Rosemary Beach Shoreline

From there, we made our way down to the beach for golden hour. The light was unreal — soft pastels stretched across the sky, the wet sand caught every reflection, and the gentle surf made the most beautiful soundtrack for the second half of the session. N and K walked hand-in-hand along the shoreline, shared sweet kisses with the sun melting behind them, and N even lifted K up in the surf for a few of my favorite frames. There is nothing quite like a Rosemary Beach sunset, and these two soaked up every second of it.

Tips for Your Rosemary Beach Couples Session

If you’re planning your own couples session here, a few things I always recommend: shoot during golden hour (about an hour before sunset or right at sunrise) so your photos glow with that soft, warm light. Wear outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable, and choose pieces that complement each other without matching too perfectly — lighter colors tend to look beautiful against the beach, and richer pastels look gorgeous against the architecture in town. And don’t be afraid to use both locations. The mix of the brick plaza and the white sand gives your gallery so much variety.

Just Be You

The most important tip I give every couple? Relax, have fun, and just be yourselves. Your session is about capturing your real connection, and I’ll guide you through everything — where to stand, how to hold each other, when to whisper, when to laugh. N and K were SO natural together, and it’s the easy, genuine moments between you that make the photos timeless.
